Tommy Mosely, 68, of Byron passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018. A celebration service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Mosely Community House located 2004 East Griffin Road, Macon, Georgia.
He is preceded in death by his former spouse; Betty, his father; Hugh Sr. (Bo) and his brother; John Mark.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Karen, his children: Tommy, John, and Kenny Mosely, Robert and Jeremy Curtis, Eric Prince, Sean and John Patrick Huling, Tonya Mosely, and Tessa Mosely, 15 grandchildren: Gabriel, Dyson, Tristan, Devin, Karen, Junior, Max, Blake, Solena, Hunter, Connor, Alex, Nicky, Mel, Donnie (Christy), 2 great grandchildren; siblings: Marjette Grissom (Ken), Jeremy Mosely, Susan Poole, Nancy Bernard (William), Martha Waid, JoAnne Mosely, and many beloved nieces, nephews and “adopted children”.
Tommy was a graduate of Willingham High School and Dudley Hughes Vocational Automotive School. He was an Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He worked many years in local factories; Macon Kraft, Codey’s Lawn Mower in Rome, and O’Neil’s Power Equipment, Smyrna, but he spent the last 29 years at Prince Manufacturing, working with Joe and Joey Prince; a job that he loved, working as a millwright.
Tommy loved to read anything, do Sudoku and crossword puzzles. He loved music; especially Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Adel; but his favorite pastime was his T Time Club with some of his closest friends and family. It was at T Time that Tommy Found his little dog Pee-Wee that he thought the world of. He was also involved with professional Go-Kart racing; winning many trophies.
A big thank you to his many friends and co-workers that he has the pleasure of working with through the years.
