Obituary for Tommy David Hendricks

Tommy David  Hendricks
Tommy David Hendricks, 86, of Macon, joined his loving wife Betty in heaven, on Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Funeral Services to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon with Reverend Tim Sizemore officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Immediately following the service, Tommy will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Born in Norman Park, Georgia, to the late Fred Hendricks, Sr. and Annie Maude Evans Hendricks. Tommy proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a tile mason for the majority of his life and owned his own business, Tommy Hendricks Tile. When he was able to, he loved to fish, swim, and anything that involved water. In his earlier years he was a Mason and Shriner at Al Sihah Shrine Temple. He also enjoyed reading the paper. His greatest joy in life came from his family, especially his late wife, Betty, whom he cherished and missed dearly.

Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife of 61 years, Betty Pinnell Hendricks.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving family, Four daughters; Leah Patton (Bill), Donna Hendricks, Tina Huckaby (Billy) and Angela Cochran (Billy). Six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
