Annie T.  Davis (Tompkins)
Annie T. Davis, 91, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in the Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Rob McDaniel will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Fairhaven Funeral Home.
Born in Macon, She was the daughter of the late Otho Tompkins and Annie Pearl Cox Tompkins. She was the widow of Johnnie E. Davis.
Mrs. Davis was retired from Brown and Williamson and a member of the Pitts Chapel United Methodist Church, where she attended Sunday School and was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was an avid gardener and seamstress. She made numerous quilts and throws for the Children’s Hospital and the Methodist Children’s Home.
She is survived by her children, Johnnie Davis Sr.(Patsy), Ronnie Davis(Tracy), Patricia Deike, Jean Davis, and Cindy Martin(Rob). Twelve Grandchildren and Eleven great grandchildren.
