Charles Frederick  Stanley
Charles Frederick Stanley age 74, died Saturday, November 4, 2017, after an extended illness. Charles was born in Macon to the late Jesse “Hoot” Stanley and the late Mattie Harris Stanley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy “Bunny” Connell. He was a retired brick layer and tool grinder. He was a devout Christian who loved his Lord and Savior. He also has a unconditional love for his family, his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Charles is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Jean Stanley, his daughter; Vanessa Fulton of Palm Bay, Florida, his daughter; Charlene Thigpen (Champ) of Kathleen, Georgia, his daughter; Dena Rodriguez (Roman) of Atlanta, Georgia and his son; Charlie Stanley (Dawn) of Byron, Georgia. Fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of FairHaven Funeral Home, 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Macon with his cousin, Jimmy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home
