Obituary

Gail Shepherd Harp, 73, of Macon, Georgia passed away Saturday, February 6, 2021. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in the chapel of Fairhaven Funeral Home. The family will have a time of visitation on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Ga.
Born in Rockmart, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Claude Nathaniel Shepherd and Mildred Hulsey Shepherd. She was the widow of Riley Harold Harp.
Mrs. Harp was a former substitute teacher with the Bibb County School System and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Mangham(Josh) Granddaughter, Abigail Riley Mangham; Sister, Claudette Atcheson and brother, James Roger Shepherd(Carmen).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the All About Animals Rescue,101 Riverside Drive, Macon, Georgia 31201.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Praying the God of all comfort helps you at this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4 & Psalms 83:18). Jesus told us to pray for God’s Kingdom because the Bible promises it will do away with death. (Revelation 21:4,5 & Daniel 2:44).

Claudette,and all of Gails Family You have my thoughts and prayers. She was a very sweet person. I remember her from school and being your Sister and living in our neighborhood. Love all of you.
