Robert Earl Hebble, Jr, 66, of Macon, lived his life one day at a time, and sadly his last was July 14, 2018. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Palmer Hall of Mikado Baptist Church, with Edlee Mixon Officiating.
Born August 26, 1951 to Ophelia and Bob Hebble. At the age of 19, Bobby joined the United States Army, serving the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. It takes a special breed to be 82nd Airborne and Bobby fit the bill. As small as he was, he was always larger than life. His love knew no bounds… So long as you didn’t try to tell him what to do. He gave his all for everyone before himself. If he had food, you had food, if he had a shirt, you had a shirt. Need a jacket? Not a problem, take what you want. Just don’t touch his Vikings Jacket. He was one of the few cornerstones in his family’s life; he was the life of the party, the rebel, the helping hand. He could be seen by many, frequently walking the streets of Downtown Macon, taking in and enjoying all its beauty. We all pray you have found the peace you were searching for and now it’s up to us to carry on your caring and giving legacy.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents as well as his wife, Mary Vaughn Hebble and two siblings; Gary Garrison and Kenneth Elander.
Survivors include his son; Robert Earl Hebble III, three grandchildren and a very special sister; Dianne Hall. As well as several nieces and nephews. But Bobby will be greatly missed by all who knew him including a host of Cousins, extended family and friends.
