William Marvin Oakes, 77. of Byron, Georgia passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017. Services will be private.
Born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, he was the son of the late Samuel Lee Oakes and Agnes Harper Oakes.
He was a retired Flight Line Mechanic from Robins Air Force Base after 38 years of service.
He is survived by his son, Chris Oakes(Jessica Danielle) and three grandchilldren.
